TeenPeople.com - 20 Teens Who Will Change The World
article at The TeenPeople.com

A rock star. A soccer player. A painter. An actress. An astrophysicist. A child advocate. What do these completely different people have in common?
Not one of them is older than 19.
That's right. Before turning 20, this remarkable cast of teenagers are working to make this world a better place.

Cablejump is being referred in Black Box's project!

Stardust
Exercise

1. Film
Interview one of your classmates about movies: How often do you go to the cinema; which movie star do you find most attractive; what kind of movies do you like to watch?

2. Action films from Asia
Read about the movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon at the official homepage of the movie. See pictures from the movie at: http://www.cablejump.com/new/reviews/cthd_pic.htm

Asia in school - Black Box contains educational material about Asia, which is the biggest and most populated continent on the globe. The purpose of the Black Box project is to provide a nuanced picture of Asia, seen through the eyes of young people.

The primary target group of Black Box is students in Denmark and Asia, aged between 13 and 16. However the project has been tailored to Danish Students, we hope though that Asian teachers and students will find inspiration in these pages.

The general idea of (with?) Black Box is that texts and images shall inspire the students to reflect about and to sum up their own impressions about Asia and express themselves in black boxes. Black Box directs many questions towards the students: What is Asia? Who are the people who live in Asia, and how do they live?

Ang Lee met with top journalists in a formal setting in a small, super cool amphitheater at the Sony Wonder building. Wow is all I can say. The new DVD is coming out June 5th. I've got it.......I've seen it...... and lemme tell you two words about it ...........OWN IT! The movie is on DVD and its color and powerful composition actually translates onto the DVD. Extras galore pack this DVD including a fantastic analysis of the movie between James Schamus and Ang Lee over clips of the movie. Interviews with the stars and a link to the website is included in this awesome DVD. Ang Lee in a directors chair spoke eloquently about the film, which will be offered in VHS dubbed or with subtitles. Ang Lee made sure the dubbing, done in England, is as good as it gets! It is, I've never seen better dubbing. Please check out this smart, well priced package- with extras you can own for years to come. Face it the movie is a classic and ground breaking in so many ways, so get it. I may be posting some pictures from the event soon....
